Someone in the Sunday Models thread suggested a new thread for OT Models. I couldn't find one, so here you go. I'll start with the box of my favorite model of all time, the Johan 69 Roadrunner.
Thanks Pace!!!!!.... All the pictures I post on this thread were found on the net.... None of these are my builds.....
When I was growing up , there was one of the Hemi racers sitting in a garage at the end of my street . I’m telling you when he started it if you were near the ground was shaking! Google Wonder Worker car . I know the guy the owed and sold it for $1800.00 . It could not be titled for street driving at that time.,
I've been trying to get back into building lately. I picked this kit up over the winter at a half price sale. One of the first kits I remember building when I was a kid was this one. Mine was a glue bomb of course, and while it was molded in black, had no paint on it at all. Later I think I brush painted the side pipes and some other stuff. Thought I'd try to build a nicer, slightly more detailed version than that. It's close to finished.
Working on a DIRT modified from an AMT early modified kit. Magneto is scratch built, in-out box, injectors and valve covers are from Ron Coon Resins.
This is a 3D printed '63 Corvette modified kit. The downside is the chassis is complete and is hard to detail. 3D printing also requires a ton of sanding and clean up.
