I may not answer my pm's or emails for a few days,looks like we will lose power for 3-5 days,East texas is full of pine trees,& they will not withstand 70mph wind for hours on end.The power companys around here do not trim around the power lines & some of the trees are actually touching the lines,it's starting to rain here now & the wind is picking up,I hates hurricanes.
I know by now you don't have power but hope everthing is ok. Let us know when you get power back. If you need any of that cool stuff hauled off after the storm I will haul off your brothers 32s!! Good luck!!
I hope it blew through there as fast as it did here. Our power blinked a few times and was out for about 20 minutes once. We stood outside and saw a huge buzzing fireball a couple streets over and heard arcing several times. It amazes me that it takes so little wind to knock out the power, worst place I have ever lived for that, I have to wonder why they don't do something different. Kind of like the stop signs coming over interstate 20 into the local truckstop. They fix the asphalt 3-4 times a year and of course where 1000 18 wheelers a day stop going downhill it wrinkles up like your granny's fanny, and still they aren't smart enought to make it concrete.
