I know that we're all into classic automobiles, but I was wondering, what else are you guys all into?

What other projects do you have on the burners right now?

Post pics of what you've got!

    :D

I refuse to mention that I've spent the last two weeks spare time replacing the head and tuning my kid's '87 CRX. No sir! I'll never admit to that.

My real project is fixing the brakes on my '62 meteor

    1969 Chevy 1/2T, 3 door Suburban 4x4. Converting from a 6 cylinder to a 454, 4" lift and 35's.
Also when time allows, going to be scratch-building a pedal car to mimic my A pick-up for my son (6 months old now).
Also want to get some of the suspension on my dune quad chromed.

  13. Between hot rods, skateboarding, and my girlfriend, I have little time for anything else. Although, she somehow thinks I should have time to be a carpenter, pool- guy, landscaper, etc...and no, I'm not talking about in the bedroom...that'd be cool

I have a lowered '86 Chevy pickup as my daily driver. It seems to take up most of my time. I have had it almost 6 years, and I'm still always working on it.

I've been fiddling with my 91 Hawk and my wife's VStar recently. My dd Sierra has some wiring gremlins in the trailer light circuit I have to chase down too. We're also building some furniture for the apartment and looking into snagging a couple duplexes which should consume every second of my life.

well, im a retired boxer/kickboxer... and i still try to stay in half way shape by working out with the younger fighters in the gym.

Im also into building & riding bikes, both petal and motor... over the past couple years finished a 49 Schwinn black phantom, a new chopper build, and am now into a 51 Norton Dominator project i just picked up.

I've been into, but still suck at, skateboarding for like 25 years now. I like to mountain bike, travel and am into a wide mix of music. I'd say im into girls, but my wife hates when i use that word in plural. Like to spend time w/ my daughter.

Im also into my work-- I build and run big data center buildings that power the internet, for Yahoo.

Between all the above and my love of old cars-- i feel blessed. Like many, i've been down in years past, so i really appreciate everything. Life's not too shabby.

Yeah, what Notebooms said, about the being blessed part, because I aint no boxer.

  21. Well I finished my wife's 71 Skylark convertible a couple months ago, so I can't say that anymore. Been helping my dad with his 55 Chevy from time to time and am getting ready to start helping my uncle put together his 51 Merc. Had a few minor house projects but nothing major lately. Now it's parts gathering for my next project more than anything I guess.

Oh yeah skateboarding... I took quite the slam two weeks ago at the P58 bowl... bruised a few ribs and was sore for days, still hurts when I sneeze... it'll slow you down for sure...

  24. Damn...I miss the days when a slam like that would take you out for 5 minutes. I've got a pulled calf right now...what's next, my hip?!

Well there's the GTX..... it needs me to finish some things I started on it so I can get it the hell out of the way and work on the Hudsonero.

I have a pile of parts I need to get rid of, too.... that'll be a time hog of its own.

Have a unique Christmas present to build... I'd say more but I don't want her to read it and spoil the surprise.

And I think it's about high time I updated my worn out old web site. Hell, I have pictures from the Road Rocket Rumble I *still* haven't burned to disc or processed to the web. :(

Oh and in the middle of all of this, I have house repairs and updates to do so I can sell this place and figure out a way to move my Sanford And Son operation to a new location.... hopefully one with a barn or a shop.

Working on the house, trying to pay the bills. And maintaining my perfect kickboxing record. Undefeated! my record is 0-0-0. :)

(I don't fight, just try to work off beer)

  29. I am sorry you have to associate with riff raff the likes of Tingler. He has to be riff raff, look at his art work. It is something else, not like other "car culture" art. His is actually cool.
