My other project is my obsession with early Broncos. Current one is this '73. 302/C4 with BB9" rear and Dana 44 front, 3.5" James Duff lift w/2" body lift. 4.11 gears with lockers. Not real great on the highway, but super fun on the weekends. Getting it ready now for its first baja trip. Need an overdrive trans for it for the 4 hour drive or I'll go insane.

  2. Other than the 49' Chev, I have an 80 Z28 with a boosted 350 that is in the body shop, a 69' Dart that I slowly building a new engine for, and am helping a friend with a 69' Cutlass. I am going to sell the camaro when its done.

I also fix up my 1931 house when I have time, make short subjects for film festival perusal, and try to get some sleep occasionally.

Oh, and I forgot. Doing a business proposal for a bar a friend and I am thinking of going into business in. Plus my 9-5 as a Network Technical analyst.

Trying to finish the restoration of a 1966 Cessna 150-F. Right now we are in the middle of stripping the paint off. That little sucker has a LOT of surface area. Once that's done then it's time to put the engine back together and mount it. Tie up all the loose ends and sell it.
Then I'll have more time for the other projects, 30 A coupe ( hopefully running by June ), 56 T-Bird, and 66 Mercury S-55.

Finalizing design on a new garage, 800 sq ft, the max the city will let me do. Doing a facelift on the kitchen. Working on two websites, one for my car photography and one for the Swallow Doretti sports car. I got two restoration projects on hold until the new garage gets done and four more queued after that. Oh ya, and trying to convince my 16 year old son that skateboarding is not a career path.

I have a rat bike I am working on, a 1986 Suzuki Madura, somewhat rare but what the hell, V-4 and 100 HP makes the motor a good foundation. I have shed the thing of it seat crafted a stubby, (loud), exhaust and got the thing running again. I got a hold of a Hudson Spotlight, Haven't go a clue what year it's for, but I plan to use it as a headlight bucket. Thinking of tearing it down and raking the frame, but actively looking for forkes with a built in rake on the tripple trees. fussed with ne handle barsd and trying to figure a good way to change the fluid clutch to foot controlled(that may not happen) buildingg a seat, cutting the fender and adding the brake light is thenext step. I'll see about pics later as it is in Ankeny Iowa. Alos have a 1970 S90 two stroke bomber that I was thinking of getting running and leaving at the farm in Iowa, but but that one is just sitting around gathering dust. Picked up a 70's western flyer bicycle with banana seeat and huge apes. I have been derusting that lately. The 68 Camaro is waiting on the 68 yenko style hood from Classic industries but they have been on back order for two years now. Then paint, Maybe. I would rather get the TKO 5 speed and a Moser rear end, then frame conectors, then new tires then recover the seats..... None of these things are bad perse' I just wanna upgrade. Typical hotrod stuff.

Don't know if that technically counts as a project, but I thought i'd post it up anyways. :D

    Who's Fiat 600 is that?

I have an Abarth OTS 1000, several Alfas and "un chingo de Fiats". I also collect beer cans (no, not under the seat of the car)

The hot rod thing is the new one for me.

Oh, and I also have this 1930s Lancia Augusta

    Attached Files:

  12. I have a 40 chief bobber and a 46 chief painted flat black and an old 48 u stripped down. Also a 56 Triumph trw 500cc flathead that i told the 14yr old son could be his first bike. I like the flathead bikes.
My 57 210 wagon is stripped of paint sitting in my buddies shop. He went and found a full time job and hasn't touched the car in 5 months. It was going to be bone stock but now I think maybe a mild custom. I have my eyes on a 52 Canadian Pontiac coupe(chevy). It would be a good project for a 71 350 and 700r that is taking up space in the shop.
No time or money but that hasn't stopped me yet.

Besides cars, I have a couple of Cushman scooters. I get them out for a ride around the neighborhood every now and then. Rebuilt the engine on my Eagle but still need to rework the Highlander although it runs but smokes some.

I really don't do much other than the hot rod projects, occasionally help my son with his bracket racer and that's about it.

Flower does all kinds of things, metal sculpture being one thing that's closely related to building her own hot rod. This is her full size sculpture of a Great Blue Herron made entirely of cut sheet copper......hundreds of copper feathers welded together. She cut everything with the plasma cutter and it's all welded with the MIG machine.

Building a house. Painting and layin tile right now. Won't be long. Can't work on the cars right now because the shop is full of tile, toilets, furniture, etc. I can barely see the cars. Motocross is the other passion, I race and promote races locally. Our arenacross raises money for Tech School scholarships. We have given three $1000 scholarships away so far.

I sometimes do stuff. But mostly look at myself in the mirror. Thats about it.

Wait a minute.... I never look in the mirror.

I spend as much time as I can right now tih my boys. Conner is Still in the hospital and Bridger just came home, but he stays at my soon to be ex wifes house so that sucks. I am trying to move all my shit out of her house, trying to make a living after just losing my job and trying to pay all these medical bills from the boys. (Damn you dont even want to see that bill. I thought my house was spendy!!!) And trying to find the time to build the damning hot rods.
