well i got loose with the digital camera today, it was 51 degrees here! nearly shorts weather! and snaped a few shots. Hope you like em. This is the wall in my dads shop.. the duece shell in the middle, we were walking through a a wrecking yeard, and a friend fgot his foot stuck in something in some dep grass and he pulls that deuce shell out of the grass stuck to his foot. Walked up front, and 5$ later walked out with it =) there is also a 32-34 ford truck grille to the right of that also... This is my dads A, full 2x4 square tube feame bent and shaped like a deuce, just dosent have the reveal in the side, and its z'd in the rear. Pete and jakes ladderbars, with an A spring behind the rearend. Front is gonna be split raidus rods, and its for a 4"dropped axel from Chassis Engineering i believe. Its gonna be chopped prolly 3-4inches. Its going to be powered by a 364 nailhead, that currently has those Hurst motormounts, alluminum Hurst bellhousing and a fancy aluminum flywheel, and it all adapts a GM style saginaw 3spd with overdrive to it. Fun combonation we hope. Currently the motor has 12.5 to 1 jahns racing pistons and a huge isky cam, it was built in the 60s, long story behind it, it was originally in some guys hot 56 chevy, hence hte hurst mounts. its been pushed off to the side for a bit while we work on my roadster. This is my 49, i applogize for the crappy pics, but the sun was way bright, and i dont have any lighting in my storage shed. its a buisness coup with a 250 chev 6 in it. and this is a 53 stude 2door. its not a hardtop, but its another friends project that i hope to aquire... full custon fiberglass fenders and hood and grille(nice repos not cheap racer style.) And he has a 325 dodge Hemi sitting there for it also.. would make a kick ass ride. these are our projects. hope you like the pics.! =)
