I met Julie briefly last year at Genes shop while on the west coast for the GNRS 2010. She seemed like a really cool girl! Best wishes and prayers for a positive and quick recovery.

HI FRANKIE,

Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts. She needs all the healing vibes and prayers she can get.

She is not doing very well. They have had to place tubes in her chest to relieve pressure that is building up from being on the ventilator. The pressure is effecting her heart. As of Saturday, They have placed a third tube in. They have her in an induced coma. Any type of stimulation seems to upset the healing process.

There are no words to express the feeling of seeing my best friend in that condition. She in on her 22nd day in the I.C.U.

I also wanted to thank those of you that have replied to this thread. I am going to print it and hang it in her room so that when she wakes up, she can see that people do care. An extra thank you to those that have sent cards. You guys rock. Thank you.... Mark

 

Thank you Mark for the update. It's heartbreaking to find out she isn't doing better after so many days. Both you guys are in my thoughts. And i can only tell you to hang in there Mark, she WILL get better soon. Much love to the both of you.

As someone who has had his lung collapse 3 times... and have had tubes placed in my chest I know exactly what Julie is going through. I am glad to hear they put her under. I was awake all 3 times when they did it to me and was awake for weeks with them in me. I would not wish that on my worst enemy.

Prayers and thoughts for her. Card going out tomorrow from the wife and I.

Damn, Mark, I was really hoping for better news. One thing is for sure-after having known you for over 30 years I know she could not have anyone more loyal or supportive in this very difficult time. Continued prayers for her, her family, and you.
