My wife and I have been looking to buy a old car to redo and drive. After a couple of months looking on line and finding nothing I decided to pick up the local paper and check out the old car section. I found a old Plymouth that I would of like to have. I called on 8/2 and 8/3 and still a week later and no return phone call. After the second phone call on 8/3 I decide to reread the adds in the old car section. I come across a 1947 Hudson. I call the guy and went to look at it. The wife gave the thumbs up that she liked the car. Two hours later it was sitting at our house. The Car is a 1947 Hudson Super Six. My wife's mom came over and we showed her pictures of the car. She said my dad use to have a car like that and mentioned a very little town where it use to be. It just so happens to be the little town the car came from. What's the chances of finding a old car that my wife's grandfather use to own? We are now in the process of tracking down the owners that had it before the guy we bought it off of. Sorry for the long read. Enjoy the pictures!:D
    Thanks King

  4. Always loved the lines of '47 Hudsons- you know you could always drop the roofline in the back and make a "fleetline" styled car... just thinkin...

A family friend told me about the '30 roadster in his garage. It's all orig. but for the typical maintenance items. When he went to look at it he was impressed with the condition and it was strikingly similar to one his father bought brand new. Just for laughs he stuck his under the pass front fender to see if there was a "T" scratched in the metal. Sure enough there was a scratched in figure in the paint. He bought it right away.
When I asked the signifigance of this he said, "I did that when I was a kid". When I asked what posessed him to do that his reply was, "I don't know, stupid kid shit. But I wasn't dumb enough to do it on the top of the fender!". He still owns it to this day and wont part with it either. When I press him on it he says jokingly "Your the last person I'll sell it to, you'll just hot rod it," and laughs. He knows me too well.
