"The Canteen has been at the same spot but in two variations since opening in 1929. Radar likely ate here as a kid. Serving about 150 lbs. of ground beef daily six times a week, the sandwich is considered world-famous. K's in Buena Vista, Colorado.....opened in 55. As you can see in the reflection of the front window, hard to beat the view while you're chowin' down too.

 

“Chuck-A-Burger” in St Louis area has been a local Cruise spot since its establishment in 1957. Pic is of original location on Old Route 66. It still exists today in a different location still in the St. Louis metro area and still hosts Cruises.

 

I am sure it has been mentioned before, but TRIPLE XXX Root Beer in Issaquah, Washington is an amazing place!

I was there a year ago delivering a Buick Woody Wagon to the owner Jose from here in Ohio. He treated me like a king & the food was amazing.
