    Guys ,

Does anybody know what type of outer bearing to use when converting to disc brakes. I read a lot on the sites that sell the conversion kits. Lots of info about the inner bearing type A13 (70s Ford). I own a 54 chevy 210 Handyman with stock spindles. I already purchased GM rotors 5519 type. Thanks !

Maybe it's the same bearing that is used in the original application for that rotor, so no one bothers talking about it?

In an instruction sheet of MP brakes I found a description of an A2 bearing type

  4. Inner diameter of A2 is .750, check your spindle diameter to see if it's the same.

A2 is the outer bearing used in GM cars with disc brakes in the 70s, so yeah, I'd expect that's the right bearing. The outer end of the spindle is 3/4" diameter on most Chevys for decades.

it's also the cheapest wheel bearing there is, so don't cost much to see if it fits. $2.22 each on rock auto
