Outkasts show Mitchell SD - Sept 25-27 HAMB meet/greet

If this is a duplicate, I apologize - I searched and the only posts I found referencing the Outkasts or Mitchell is from back in '08.

This will be our first Outkast show, leaving from Montana early on Friday(unfortunately in my OT daily driver). My only out of state show this year, no Hotrodarama in WA this year and no money for the new improved "Paso", so I am really looking forward to getting out of town for a decent car show.

Who else is headed to the show?

Any HAMBers have an opinion on the the Murdo SD "pioneer auto museum"?

 

If you have never been there it is worth a stop. Lots of dusty cars in a pole building.

If I was in Mt like you I would go to the Hotrodorama instead. Looks like a hell of a lot better show in a much nicer local.

 

Yes, I've been and well worth the stop since you'd be traveling right by it.. Many pole buildings full of cars and memoribilia.

 

Tman- So where is the Hotrodorama?

I've been to the the Hotrodarama in WA for the past couple years (I'm from Seattle), However the show was cancelled for 2009, likely back in 2010?.

Yeah I was bummed, but the Mischief Makers said it would be back better than ever.

I heard the Watertown SD show is a good show (this weekend?) but I didn't hear about it soon enough to make plans.

 

Watertown is the BEST show in Sodak. Lots of trad cars and good people.

Damn, I have some out of state company and will miss the OutKasts show in Mitchell. I went last year and had a blast, the Rumblejetts will be at the show this year as well. This is such a laid back scene with a very cool show spot on the main street with the big ass Corn Palace as a back drop. Lottsa real nice people, and the show is really well put together. I will be watching for pix and reports. Live it up!! ~Sololobo~

Chubbie , nice to meet you too , that Model A pick-up ran out of gas , we stopped to help , I had a spare gas can with with a few gallons helped him out , my truck was fine , yea we opened the big block buick up a little once we got rolling , the 3:00 gears make the studebaker sing down the interstate

 

Randy Gribble built car. A recreation of a car that was built on the Coast and brought to Rapid City back in the 50s and now resides in Colorado.
