I'm looking for examples of outline striping. I'm not sure if I'm using the correct term, but I'm looking for striping that sort of traces the natural beads, beltlines, cowl, and other divisions in the car body. You see it quite a bit on T's, A's and other early 30's cars. I'd like to see various color combintions and stiping configurations.

BTW, I tried a search, but I couldn't get anything to come up without getting every pin striping thread under the sun.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Check the links to almost any true cl***ic car photos and you should be able to find examples. Not the 26 year old clunkers or the 64 Chebbies that guys think are "cl***ics" but the real cl***ics out of the 30's.

Here's a couple examples of what I'm referring to.

    I call it "carriage striping".
