Just bought a 52 Buick Special and I want to put a Fulton style sun visor on her. The 52's don't have a split windshield and I'm not sure how to go about putting one on a 1 piece windshield car. I've done a lot of searching on the net and I've come across lots of pictures of 52 specials with the Fulton style visors on them. I know they make a 1 piece windshield sun visor that is smooth all the way across but I want one of the visors that is two pieces and adjusts in the middle. Would I have to modify the bracket to make it fit? Do I need some kind of special bracket to use it with my car? I've included a pic I found of a 51 with the type of visor I want on it so you can see what I mean. Any help or advice on the visors would be appreciated as I've never put one on before.

The visors for one piece windshields usually has a center bracket that bolts to the roof of the car. Heres a photo of one type.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen those brackets before and I kind of figured thats what they were for. So if I have a visor that looks like this first picture and I bought a bracket like in the second picture could I maybe modify it to work on my 1 piece windshield? Ever heard of anybody doing something like that?

it looks like it could work but can't say for certain. You can always test fit it without drilling the holes in the roof and see how it works. Personally I don't like the idea of drilling holes in the roof because there is always a chance of water leaks. Mull it over before you start ventelating your roof.
