what a change those parts have made since i last saw them.

    congrats on a great project.

  6. Matt! I just found your thread. Nice truck!
I have two questions. First, how well do the slicks work on the street, and second, what pedal assemblies are you using? I'm using an old Ansen set up, and I'm worried about availability of the old Chevy m/c.

  7. thanks, mike! the pedal assembly is home-made. i used a set from a ford pickup, although those chevy m/c's are ready available...

the slicks...well, i don't have much good to say about them. they are coming apart, the white walls look like crap, etc... i'll be replacing them with radirs.

  8. Thanks, Matt. Since I wrote you I found out that Coker is now selling the BFG silvertown 285/70/15's in blackwall. Pricey, but the perfect size for what I want. I know that those m/c's are around now, but I'm always keeping alternatives in mind. You see, I've owned Morris Minors, Bugeye Sprites, TR 6's etc. Try finding parts for a '68 Triumph Bonnieville.

  10. well, i've done quite a bit, but havent posted up any pics yet. i cut the rear suspension out and redid it. i added friction shocks at the front and swapped the intake for an offy 4x2 set up....it's running nicely and i'm working the bugs out when i get the time.......i'll post some pics up asap....thanks for the interest!!
