I've been following several threads, enjoyably, for quite some time now and felt it was finally time to introduce myself. I am 55, live in southern Wisconsin, and am driving/restoring a 1939 International Harvester D-2 half-ton pickup.

I have a blog of the rolling restoration at "Restoring Cornelius"

    Thanks,

    John

Thank you. Truck looks great from 20 feet away or more ;) Body work is the lowest priority at the present. Working on collecting more original parts for it, and the engine is going to need a rebuild. Parts for the L-R-S Series and later aren't so hard to find (owned and drove a 1953 IHC R-110 for years) but finding parts for the old D-Series is an exercise in frustration management and patience...
