Overheating

    I know this isnt a vehicle that goes on here but , my 95 cadillac Eldorado is over heating , So I am going to change the Thermostat, however i have never worked on a Cadillac engine before and was wondering if anyone knew where I might find engine repair diagrams for this part .. Please Help ..

    probably a blown head gasket. in which case your motor is basically junk.

    Yah it's most likely a head gasket. The engine and transmission has to come out(From the bottom) to get the head off and the head bolt threads in the block are usually stripped. GM recommends installing Time-Serts to repair the block.Not an easy job. Might be time for another daily driver....... Something HAMB friendly and reliable:eek:
