Projects Overspray on tail light

I'm of mixed opinion here; being an old Ford guy, I'm confused until I put a Chevy in it.
My first suggestion would be to get the grinder, but Kaisers are true cl***ics and deserve respect. All of these suggestions sound great; a few of them are even new to me, the old painter guy.
