Hot Rods Owner Made Fuse Panels

    Or wrap a blown fuse with foil from a pack of Marlboro's (or a stick of gum)... ;)

    This is what I do for my own records and to print a copy for the owner to show any additions made to the purchased harness. Easy to do in "paint".

    I still like glass fuses for trad builds. One reason is you can tell at a glance if one is blown. On my vintage champ car I used them on a piano-hinged panel that pops up or tilts out of site.     A friend wired his entire racecar with green wire labeled “backup lights” that he had saved from several previous wiring jobs. when the car wouldn’t start at the track and he was all belted in with his helmet on he asked me to troubleshoot.
    Some friend he was.
    It turned out the green wire labeled backup lights that powers the coil has fallen off.
