pretty cool film of Oxnard 1961 with traffic and beach scenes etc.. My father in law worked at the gas station at 5 points in the 50's and 60's, he found this footage.

I was stationed at Port Hueneme for parts of 68 and 69. I saw my first Taco Bell there.:D I did not remember anything in the film. I remember a bar that Johnny Cash was supposed to frequent. There was a junk yard in Oxnard that still had a 47 Hudson P/U in it at that time. I was expecting to see hot rods on every other corner. I saw one 26-27 Ford phaeton hot rod go down the road the whole time I was there.:D

I've always wanted to go back to see how it has changed.

Ya my father in law has stories working at that station at 5 points. At one time there were 5 different gas stations at 5 points. I sure wish it still looked like the film!
