I love seeing a REAL nice custom in primer where you can see how straight it is, and imagine it in paint. Thats a really really nice car. How much is it chopped? 5-7?
When I first saw the pics, I just broke out in a devilish laughter. The chop and the stance is way too Kool!! Love your plans with the Merc. I don't remember a dark Gold '40 Merc before. Kool original idea and I can't wait to see the project come to life. Happy Trails, Mick

There is no better taildragger than a '40 Merc with a hardtop chop - PERIOD. That is absolutely awesome, I'm glad to see a shop that puts out top quality work building one. I'll be watching this build, keep us posted!

I have loved 40 merc's for a long time and that one's going to be bad *** I love the chop I tried to talk my dad into chopping the top on his 40 merc 4 door convertible but he didnt becouse there was only like 900 made so that didnt work but I can understand were he's coming from if it was mine that top would have been cut a long time ago

great job oz- always doin a great job on customs- i saw the work you did on anthony's green merc and all the satinless work. the chop and stainless looked outrageous. killer job on the chop and all the lines run so smooth. the drip rail also looked killer. greta job on the 40 and keep doin' what you do best-making killer kustoms
