Anybody decide on a date yet? Towards the end of October would be better for me, these next couple of weeks are hectic for me. Like Jeff said let the weeds and stuff die off. LMK, later plmczy rodkstm@localnet.com
Hmmm... some say the 27th, others say NO.. we all know that the date Clark goes, theres no reason to go after that. Kinda like being behind the fat guy at a buffet.. Everyone that wants to go on the 27th PM me and I'll give you my #. we can also plan a second trip if everyone wants to, or as many as you guys want. This is one yard I just love because you never know what you may find. Great place for photography too. Spike
Spike, Let me know when. I will talk to you this week to find out the scoop. I am never on my machine b/c it is a piece of junk. It is like a wire job the night before a show!!! Been thrashing on the 54. Carb just need rebuilt. Two weeks away from driving it for the past 3 months. Deadline...Greaseball. Larry
'Bout time you found this place Larry! Now post an intro about yourself so people know who you are and what you drive. Its tradition. I know youre the real deal, but these guys don't. Give me a call if ya still got my #. Spike
Oh yeah..one more thing about this yard..I found a panel truck full of old hubcaps! scored a couple of early Caddy caps, a '56 Olds cap (one) and scores of others that I put back. price? FIVE BUCKS EACH! Shhweeeeet! Spike
Hey guy's maybe we can do this each weekend at a different yard. For example, one weekend we can go to spikes, then the next weekend or so go to the one by SoWhats, then check out the one by Lulabelle's a week or so after. That way if someone can't make it one weekend they could make it to another. Sound kool? later plmczy
OK folks. I'm heading up to the yard this Saturday, September 27th. Unless it rains. Haven't seen an accurate forcast as of yet. If you want to go, E mail me and I'll give you my address or directions if needed (Mapquest,Yahoo work) I like the idea of different yards. I'll try and work out as many as I can get to. Spike
Ok Spike. Here is my intro. My name is Larry. I have a 54 Pontiac Chieftain that is frenched, lowered, shaved, primered and flamed that I have been trying to get back on the road for the summer. I bought the body pretty much done but have been going through the mechanicals. I had to take it off because I was buying a new house out in Chester County from Philly. I also have a 62 Grand Prix and 67 VW Vert that I am in the process of destroying for my wife. I also have the remnants of a Model A project like most of you in here. I have been into cars since a kid (my father has over 15 cars). I am not sure what else anyone once to know. If you go to the Right Coast Shows you have seen me. Here's a pic of my car. Giddy-Up
In Kennett Square. I moved from Philly in January and have finally gotten settled in. Spike, I have to find you number. Hopefully I still have it. I know my wife was cleaning so that isn't a good sign for my filing system. Larry
You're in luck I can't go this weekend. I'll be busy sortin through all the stuff I got at an auction last week. I'd still like to go after the swapmeets are over. I'll even take you guys to the yards around here. It will be better to let the weeds die a little. Clark
You guys should see the quickchange that I just got from the yard. It's awesome. If anybody was watching, American Hot Rod was on tonight. There was a great shot of Clark and Boyd comparing billet polish.
Mikey.... are you going to Hershey with me? I'm going to need a couple of GOOD *****es to haul all the cool **** I buy.I figure you and Sumo unless I can find some mofre money somewhere. Hell I might even let you buy a pair of headlights for your father. Clark
