I was planning on coming saturday, but I think that's turned into my only day to hit carlisle. If I find the stuff I'm looking for early I'll be there...

SATURDAY IS ALSO RAIN OR SHINE

I will get there early and reserve a table at the diner under the name "Jerry" ...if it's raining come in and ask where the table is. Hopefully the weather will be on our side and we all can shoot the **** outside for a while.

I'm not in charge so you'd have to get the final word from someone else, but last time it was a pretty mixed lot of cars. Some guys didn't have there rides on the road yet and came in whatever they had to drive.

If anyone is interested, after this whole shindig is over, I'm going back to Allentown to work on my 49. Anyone is welcome to help me install the motor, you'll be paid with drinks and burgers. :D

  15. Looking like Saturday is a go. No s****ple for me though :D. Can't get down to Carlisle though :(.

Will someone who is going keep an eye out for any of the things posted below for me, if you have questions about cost, PM me. I will compensate if stuff is found.

    Thanks - MRAK

    Thanks for the compliment!

I agree... Billet and 22s are not cool. Neither are pro-touring '69 Camaros. :D On the other hand, a "stock-ish" '69 Z28 w/ M&H cheaters on steel wheels on the rear, traction masters and vintage 'mag' wheels and redlines up front is WAY cool. :D (well, to me, anyway.... I have a thing for muscle cars that look like they rolled straight out of 1969.)

Yeah, it's my other '40. Don't give anybody ideas, it's staying stock, even though the flathead is alot more finicky than the SBC in the Coupe.

I'll be driving a 98 ford contour haha.

  30. All-right So I didn't make the breakfast portion of this, but I did manage to get to the cycle show and run into a couple of HAMBers.

I also managed to take a couple of snaps, they are probably better suited to our comrades on the Jockey Journal side, but there are some interesting bikes that were there. Enjoy.

This was a custom bike made with a bunch of Indian parts. Mono shocks front and rear, and airplane wheels. Also check out the louvers.
