Does anyone know if the the A-Z u pull it off rt 61 in Shoemakersville, PA has an old car section. I didn't want to drive there for nothing.

Looking for some more PA junkyards to go picking around for old car parts. Plus I also just enjoy walking around junkyards...
Don't need anything specific, between me and some buddies, we have an array of cars, two 56 Plymouths, 50 Chevy, 53 Chevy, 56 Dodge, 77 Volare, 72 4 door Chevelle, 64 Galaxie convertible, 32 Chevy, 65 Mustang, 67 Catalina, 70 road runner, 67 fury III convertible. All of them are modified in one way or another.

Lately I've been going to EZ-pull in New Ringgold and acutally had some nice finds including a 56 Plymouth power steering column last time I was there.

Or are there any other around worth perusing?

Since inventories change so quickly, you'd be ahead to just call them directly and ask. Their website lists complete cars for sale, including a '77 Vega, so maybe they've got stuff that vintage.

Their website, http://www.freetowjob.com/home.html, lists contact information.

Why not give them a yell and then come back and tell us?

OK I thought from reading back posts that maybe he was all crushed out by now. How's the brush there? Would it be a better October or November trip?

Ah, poop, I lost my first post.

The isles are clear, watch for bees and rats. I would not wait, as soon as iron goes up the cars will be going.. I was there just last week. Still a lot of project that could be saved.. the oddballs are in and he has a few..

Still lots of cars, he can be haggled depending on his mood, but it's best to bundle. Ask ahead if you know what you want. I'd say half of your list is still in there but not necessarily what your looking for..

I only live down the road, I can store anything big you buy in my yard. I accept beer as payment for storage...

There is a ton of Lyme disease up this way (I'm a vet and 1 in 3 dogs aoundd here are positive). If you go, tuck in your pants legs into your socks, wear lots of Deet and check yourself carefully when you get home. Lyme is a nasty, insidious disease that will truly ruin your junkyard experience.
