Just wanted to drop a line to thank all you guy's that was there, my buddy and I had a great time. We plan on going back sometime now that I have a list of stuff I need to pick up. That place was huge and a little wet [IMG]. It's amazing what was lurking under all those weeds and in busses. I want to thank lulabelle and wife for the great hospitality. We all should get together and do it again sometime. Chassis, I felt bad that I didn't properly intro myself to ya. I hope to have the chance again sometime. I hope everyone made it home safely. Tokoyo, let me know when you get a chance on those merc parts for my buddy, he was stoked. later plmczy

  6. Deuce....we did find a couple of them. There was one 40 coupe that must have been a rod in its day. There was alittle of everything there. LOTS of sheetmetal!!! If you want a fender or door for an odd car 30s to 60s they had it. Some of the stuff was in barns and busses and in real good shape. There was at least 3 hemis there. Of coarse NON of the motors have valve covers any more (TOKYO?) [IMG] Found some ford wishbones and some other Ford stuff. Found a perfect pair of 38 Ford car hood sides and fenders. The yard is picked over pretty good. Not many 30s grills left. Saw 4 Pontiacs and they were all missing their trim. Saw several Desotos with out their grills. Saw 4 40, Fords all missing dashes. Plenty of good stuff left.
I came home with a 38 Ford truck grill and an early Ford hubcap. Going back for more later.
Tokyo wins the most stuff award!!!
Thanks again Lullabelle!!! Wish I could have stayed longer!!!

I had a great time just looking at all the cool stuff and meeting some new people. When and where is the next one I still need to find a seat for the coupe .

  10. Mopar....Next weekend???? What kind of seat are you lookin for?
Tokyo You're right ...the high dollar stuff is gone but there's a LOT of good stuff left.
The first junkyard down here is like that one but smaller. There is a barn with alot of cool stuff in it and maybe he will take us through the one building with some really cool stuff. The yard is over grown but should be OK. Prices are average at this place.
The second yard has less old stuff and what they have is hard to get to. This is the yard with the quick change. The good part of this yard is the more you get the cheaper it is.
Let me know what your lookin for and I might know if they have it or not.

SoWhat we went to Christines Auto Salvage to see about a hemi and found four cars a 331 hemi and an early Dodge pickup bed. The place has the township coming down on them and need to move thier stuff. Great prices he just kept throwing things in could'nt believe it. They are in Thomasville near Martins potato chips. I'll try to make it out next weekend if something comes together. Fat

  12. FatABone.. Never heard of Christine's. Do they have a bunch of old cars? I was talking about Krug's and Lucke's

  17. Haring...I've got two sets. Got anything to trade?
Mercman...I know of 2 in a yard but I doubt the quarters are good.
Fatabone let me know when you're going to Christine's. If you don't mind I'd like to tag along.

Here's how I spent my Saturday, when I was 'spose to be down there with you all having fun.
The help was there to hang the steel so I had to be here.
When it's done it'll hold the motor home, snowmobiles, tractor, mowers, and all the other crap taking up work space in the shop.
Clark, Let us now about the junkyard tour down your way. Maybe I can make that one.
If anyone wants to head north for a junkyard tour "soon before it snows" Here's whats in NY.

Did you say Gay Ass? Can you say that here? Link- When is issue #2 ( No pun intended ) coming out of Rodz -N- Keisterz? I added the "Z" thing cuz its the thing to do now and we must follow trends...

SawZZall- I'll give ya a ring later in the week to confirm time and place. I just bought a little pick up truck (500 bucks!) that has an 8ft. bed. Just in case. Actually I'm just there for the pictures...

OK let me just state this now...I WILL NOT BE WORKING ON SATURDAY! Screw that! As if I really want to be at work monday thru friday then I get stuck with more shit on a saturday? Piss on it! So let me know what the dealy-oh is for this saturday. Give me a time and place and we be goodz.

Rodz-n-Keizter is a bi-yearly publication and the new issue should be unleashed sometime at the beginning of the new year.

If the meeting place is at SawZZZZZZZZZZZZZall's, he better get his fruity ass out of bed early and have breakfast ready when I show up.

I definitely want to hit Krugs to snag those bumpers Clark told me about, but wherever else everyone wants to go is cool with me. Once you figure out a meeting place/time, post an address and/or directions from the south (I'm heading from Baltimore). Thanks!
