There's a yard in Jackson NJ that only has old stuff, a rarity in NJ. Been there twice... guy is very pricey, but how many yards like this are in NJ these days? He'll let you walk around, but be nice... he's a little wacky... I think he charges $5 or $10 to go look.

Yeah,.. the bottom end of Lancaster county, in the town of Little Brittain. Somewhere real close to Lloyds road if Im not mistaken. The name of the Yard is Criswell's Auto Salvage, and try this # 7175295488. not sure if thats the owners # or the yards, but they'll be able to help either way

Also in the town of Bernsville, Rt 183 out of reading heading west there's a yard by the name of Hoffert's used Auto parts, they got a lot of old tin as well.

Check with the boys over at Baughman's Autoparts in York Pa, they got hold of a yard that was closed in the late 70's right around the Strinestown exit off of 83, and they have some stuff as well

Ya, called Unique Auto Slavage. This place is killer, 80% of the cars are complete and about 60% of those are Cadillacs. Guy has a weird thing for em. Doesn't like to "cut" things up, but he will sell parts and he is pricey. Good guy, little querky, but he's still rollin cars in.

Listen to olskool37. Hoffert's started in mid 50s and have never crush anything. Multiflora rose , bees and snakes should be getting pretty bad by now, but it's worth the day.

ya I went there wasnt too bad, but didnt have a car at the time so didnt need anything, wanna go back there sometime this year. I remember the guy asked me if I can read before I was about to leave and then made us write in his little book about what we thought of the junkyard.

E Z Pull & Save is on Rt 895 east of New Ringgold, PA. Two dollar admission to roam and pick what you want from 10,000 cars. Prices are good and they are open every day except (I think) New Year's, Christmas and Easter.
The newest cars are about 1999 or 2000. Most cars are 80's-90's. There are a few cars from the 40s but they are pretty much gone to rust.
The yard is about 1/4 mile deep and about a mile wide. It is divided into areas according brand of car, i.e. Trucks, GM, Ford, Chrysler and Foreign.

the only old car style yards in this part of jersey are friendship and unique, friendship will be on my list to go to soon, I haven't been there in a while, unique on the other hand is about 3 miles from me and I'm there a lot, you can pm me with any questions about his stock, but can't help with pricing.

I was doing my Jesus impersonation. Large clans of folks were carrying in picnic lunches so the kiddies had something to do while padre unbolted parts, and I couldn't go in with open toes. Pretty funny, I thought.

I like ez pull and save, up on 61 for alot of reasons..

there old stuff is usually picked over pretty good..
but my father just got an camaro axle there for 35.00.. and they cut it out.. and it was complete..

although Hofferts in bernville has been in operation along time.. but most of the stuff is pretty far gone now.. (last time I was there I came home empty handed)

a few years ago hotrodphotos took myself and Tokyo to chriswells where we found a few things.. but overall the condition of the cars was similar to hofferts..

I was only to "unique" once.. but they have the best stuff.. the entire lot is SAND.. and I think overall they had the MOST old cars of any yard in the area..

furthermore 90 % of the stuff there looked like older restos or abandoned restoration projects.. there was a rivi there that appeared to have fresh paint and inside the car the seat cushions were wrapped in plastic bags.. (as in they were JUST fROM THE upholstery shop)

the owner is a bit off his rocker.. but its a place I think everyone should see once..

I go to E-Z alot. A few years back I found a got set of F1 door for $25.00 each. The doors had no rust. All I had to do was strip them and a little body work (dents) and they were ready to mount. Now I wish I would bought the whole cab. There was no rust on that either.

It's traditional, a lot of yards were like that in the '50 and '60s - probably always were.

If Hofferts is the same place near Reading I was to November '01, Take along a big lunch,Plenty of water, and watch out for bears.50 years of cars are that far into the woods. You will be there a long time. They should charge admission. A snakebite kit might be handy also. Stinkin hot for Nov. Thought I was gonna die!

Yes Ed Luckes junkyard has a lot of cool stuff. It is mainly and older junkyard. Prices can be crazy and they can be good. It's overgrown pretty bad this time of year. They don't even mow the roads and some are starting to grow over. Hell I doubt you can see most of the cars now. They are either in Glenville or Jefferson on Route 516.

The real shame is Pyle's junkyard up near Sunbury. Had a lot of cool stuff but it's all been crushed now.

Harry's U-pull-it is in west hazelton. A good percentage of the real old stuff is in a fenced in portion behind the yard that is next to Harry's. There is some old stuff stacked on top off each other outside the fence of Harry's. later shawn
