This is late. But I found one in a bunch of parts I bought in ohio. So cool reading some history on it
Some of us guys in our car club are not to happy with the direction our car club is going. We’re thinking about starting a new car club. We have been discussing a name for a new club. Could we use the name Pacemakers or does someone have some kind of patent on it?
This page on my website has 31 different Pace Makers/Pacemakers plaques on it ... https://carclubplaques.pairsite.com/SameNames/PaceMakers.htm I doubt that anyone would give you lip about starting a club with that name, unless there is already one with that name in your area.
Well, as of right now it looks like we are starting a new car club and making the club name Pacemakers of Evansville In. Revising a car club here from the 60’s. I just want to make sure other clubs named Pacemakers are ok with this.
You won't even have to make a pattern for your plaques because Dennis O'Brien already has the original pattern and can make you as many as you want ...
When you get them, send me a photo or post one here so I can add it to this page on my website ... https://carclubplaques.pairsite.com/Cities/Evansville.htm
You may have to have a meeting to decide about getting plaques from Dennis. I just noticed he has the original patterns for two other versions ...
Well it’s official. We started a chapter of The Pacemakers Evansville Indiana. Everyone from our old club walked away and we started a new one reviving the name Pacemakers. My dad was a member here in the 60’s he passed in 96 and I really was glad that everyone was onboard with the name. So far looks like we have about 20 members. We voted on officers tonight. I was voted President. Not sure I wanted that. But going to make this a cool car club to be in.
I’ll send you a pic after we get our plates. We did change it a little added a mag wheel to the center of the tire. Here is our new club logo that will be on t shirts and decals.
