Pacific Northwest ! still snowing !

To all my fellow Pacific Northwest H.A.M.B. Folks, snow is piling up. The cars are in the garage. What has the great weather brought you so far this week( besides a headache or two) Anyone working on rides( heated garage would be nice no luck in my book) What's on your Holiday list ? How do I get to the N.W. group?

 

i'm sick of it already.

 

Hey, I used to live on that big farm at the end of Taylor Bay Road. Well, it was big then, twenty-seven acres and 1200 feet of beach but that was in 1974. I have about a foot of snow here and it's up hill in every direction coming and going.

 

Yes, already tired of this weather ! Bring on the rain !

 

Over 2 ft of snow in a little over 24 hours at my place in Spokane. I am sick of it! I've got a nice heated shop, but I'm reluctant to fire up the furnace and have all the snow slide off the roof. Too tired to dig more right now. I'll warm it up this week a bit and have some more fun! What I'd give for some 90 degree weather and a cold beer right now! Everyone hang in there, springs around the corner...

 

I'm nearly out of firewood for my shop and with no end in sight for the snow I guess the coffee tables are next. And I have my eye on an oak bed frame. Oak burns hot! Looking around there may be close to a half cord of the stuff scattered around in the house pretending to be furniture.

 

Like I posted on the N.W. group, Bing Crosby can take his "White Christmas" and stuff it up his tail pipe! I want rain! I dont have to shovel that! I cant get to 55 dude's place to pull parts,my garage is freezin' ass cold,and I cant get to the store for hot coco mix! BAH HUMBUG! Oh well on the kinda-sorta bright side, I live close enough to work,I can walk if I absolutely have to.
Nine -inch when are we gonna do HAMB and eggs at your place? We know you got nice digs to tear up now!

 

8 inches of snow in the last 24 hours, on top of three or four that was already on the ground. I tried to leave this afternoon, and decided I could get out, but would never manage to get my four-wheel-drive back up my driveway.

And then the power was off for 20 minutes.

A HAMB and eggs in Silverdale or Poulsbo would be great!

 

Have no time or energy to work in the shop as I am working 12 hour shifts and trying to dig out at home.

I came from the east side of the mountains, thought I was done with all the snow.

I have to draw the line at asking for rain though. How about just a little sunshine instead.

About a foot of the white junk has again proven Mother Nature & gravity can humble the best of us.

 

Salem, OR here. Eight inches of snow, and now 3/4" of freezing rain on top of that. I work at a GM dealership, and the weather last week absolutely killed our business! This week ain't lookin' much better.

 

we got 14" and still snowing in st.helens or.where is the nw section?

 

Now you know why some of us live in the Valley of the Sun!!! LOL

 

Here in the midwest. About 8" on the ground. But -25 with windchill. -10 actual for two days. Garage is heated and have been bustin' ass on the '50 ford 'vert. Don't want to go outside. You will die in 10 minutes.

 

Hi boones what is and how do I get on the NW group. its great to have a wood stove in the shop, heres what Ive gotten done on the 53 in the last 2 weeks. the car was just a shell when I got it only thing fabed were the motor mounts, and heres what we got for snow in chehalis.

 

22 inches total 12 on the ground, stuf frozen solid. Just another winter in paradise.

 

I drove from Seattle to Tacoma to help my nephew put a straight axle on his 54 Mercury. It belonged to my aunt. My sister was going to give it away. It was 20 degrees at 1 am both nights we worked on it. Sheets of ice driving home. Awesome

 

No better here in the Northeast, 2 feet on the ground, now 40mph winds- last week it was Ice storm and power outage...... Think Spring!

I currently have 26" and it's still dumping. I just shovled off my car port that my 51 is sitting under...looks like I gotts do it again. Of course my 3 week old nice new natural gas heater takes a shit...company says "we'll get parts out to you right away". What a crock of shit. So I'm stuck in a cold garage, trying to work on anything, and most of the time shovle.

C'mon spring!!!

Now we have 1/2 inch of ice on top of 8" of snow, give us some sun for Xmas.
