Kick***!! I got a call yesterday from a local guy sayin my deuce was in the GG Gazette, but i hadn't recieved mine til today so i couldn't check it out. I opened it up and scanned through the Rhinebeck coverage and, *BANG* there it is !! There's a lot of guy's from Rochester in there this year. With the amount of really nice cars at the show, I'm honored to have mine in the Gazette too. This is the first mag my '32s been in, so i'm feelin pretty good right now. JimA, thanks !!!! Tony.......
Congrats bud! I'll bring my GGG and a sharpie to the Autorama next month if you'll honor me with an autograph??
[ QUOTE ] Congrats bud! I'll bring my GGG and a sharpie to the Autorama next month if you'll honor me with an autograph?? [/ QUOTE ] You want my autograph?!?!? ok but, Your the 'celebrity' on the HAMB...i should get your's!! mytlo56, i've been fortunate to have the truck in a few mags, and don't get me wrong they were all very special to me. Like a lot of guy's, i alway's wanted something i built in a mag. The truck i don't want to take credit for. It was originally built back in the 60's by a couple of great guy's i had the pleasure of meeting this past year. I did a LOT of work to it in order to make it drivable, and also had my hand in the cosmetics of it...but it's a true survivor and i'm happy to be the one caring for it now. Having the first builders of it say they were happy i got it was GREAT to say the least. My '32 was my first home built hot rod. Granted, it's a gl*** body car..but it was completely built here in my garage, so having this in a mag is huge to me. The only bummer about the pic is he took it with the mufflers on..i was drivin it all around the show that weekend 'uncorked' Thanks everyone. Tony....
Congrats! isnt it cool to see your own vehicle in a published magazine. My 34 pu was in it a while back from coverage from the Heartland Nationals, and the yaer before my Model A Tudor was in it also. All my buddys were asking me for autographs as a joke every where id go, I kept tellem em 5 bucks!!
