Hi I was hoping to get some advice. Got my seats upholstered at Garzas and now I am ready to do the rear seat package tray. He said he can make the package tray (since I don't have one) and upholster it but he couldn't put the speaker covers on. I am going to order the chrome music note speaker covers but I don't have any idea what to do next? Do I have him make a hole in package tray? Thanks for any advice.

It really isnt that complicated, ***uming there will be speakers under the covers, you use the template that comes with the speaker, or measure and make your own, and cut that size hole into the package tray and upholstery. then you screw in the speaker, and screw the cover over the speaker. Does this help at all?

That would be the simple way to do it. Or if you are going to have a car audio shop install the sound system and speakers they can do it then. To have the trimmer do it you will need the speaker size or the dimensions of the cover so he can cut the hole (s) with enough room left to mount the covers properly.

If they are similar to these http://www.thehotrodgirl.com/munospco.html It looks like they are made for a 6x9 speaker.

I think you have it figured out already.
Gonna be pretty muffled music without a hole.
