page loading on dial-up

one thing that does bug me about the hamb, having a slow dialup connection, is the neat artwork at the top right of the page, which has to reload the image EVERY SINGLE TIME THE PAGE LOADS. it doesn't seem to store the image in the browser cache.

is there any way to make it so we could disable that thing in the preferences? sure would be nice.
