I'm looking for a little topcoat advice. I sprayed my roof this weekend with some Zero-rust red oxide primer, which came out really nice. I also have a couple of quarts of Hot Rod Flatz lying around which I'd like to use. I am not a very experienced painter, but I know a little so I shot some test panels with what look to be good results. So, I'm wondering if anyone else has topcoated over zero rust without adverse effects? Or, had good results with another product? The manufacturer of course says its ok, just wanted to check with real people who have possibly done it.

I realize that any real painter here would probably not use Zero-Rust as a primer and probably go with an Epoxy primer. I had it available and have had really good results in the past.
