The choice of wheels and tires is the most personal of all choices next to paint color and upholstery.
Get thee hence to a wheel and tire store and see what YOU like!

Throw a set of Lancers on it and call it a day.

  15. chrome reversed wheels, spider caps, medium size whitewalls, maybe 1½" wide, or just go with wheels you have same color as body and add spiders and trim rings and your tires on it now

I agree with throwing a set of lancers on it.

How about a set of steel wheels, painted body color. Fog in the outside of the rim in a darker blue. Put on those 'new' mini trim rings, that Rally America has, with chrome bullet lug nuts, and a big bullet in the center, giving a "spider" look.
Wide or pin whites would work with these.

I think either Chrome reverse with spider caps (which is what I'm most likely putting on my '56 Chevy wagon) or maybe something a little different??? Obviously with wide whites. I saw them on a '54 Chevy and they looked SICK! By the way, did you bag it? How much was the setup and is it dependable? I'm debating going bags or not...

I agree with Dandingo, Chromies and spider caps would look sweet. Maybe some Olds Flippers over a red rim with a wider whitewall.

Another vote for Lancers (I'm a '56 owner, too) and the WW is wide enough.

i dont usually care for 56's but this one really did it for me, id go with the steel wheels painted body color, spider caps and trim rings, with wide whites
