Technical Paint and Flake Question

    Once you have sprayed the flake, how long do you have to shoot the top coat clear?? Thanks

    If you shot it right before posting this question, you probably should be getting ready to clear. Seriously, each paint manufacturer has detailed instructions, or should, and you should read them and understand them before starting. If you shot it over a cured clearcoat, then I would think 30 minutes to and hour would be sufficient. If you shot it over fresh base, better follow the paint manufacturers directions and clear in the recommended time frame.
