Paint Guys-Removing Paint Using a WireWheel

on old lacquer paint that goo's up the works...the welding supply had a like 6" disc with 1/2" looking nubbins (plastic/rubber?) for cleaning metal for welds...anyway took the old paint right off without creating any heat..cleaned the whole GTO to bare metal and still is usable! don't remember what it was called but sure did the job. also came in 8" size... they screwed onto 5/8" shaft.. 20-30 bucks

 

Actually is was some miniscule little Datsun.... 510 or something?
