Paint (lime green)

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by jayharrison92, May 9, 2009.

  1. My ride is painted a kermit green kinda and with rust repairs planned out, I think I may as well re-spray the whole car.

Its already a bit famous for being lime green so I dont want to change it (although its a bit obnoxious). Been looking at brighter, glossier green and also the flat lime greens which would look awesome with polished 5spk's and whitewalls.

Was hoping some of you guys could post some pictures of either hot rods or customs with lime green paint (gloss or flat).

BTW its for a 61 EK Holden (auzzie 57 chev)

Ok, I KNOW this isn't a custom or a hot rod, but it's what I got LOL...

I would also like to paint my Shoebox lime green, but I didn't know what a flat lime green would look like. Or a satin lime green. So I'm not sure, but when I get to the point of painting it, I'll have to do my research and get some ideas. Anyways, I hope this helps!!!

Here is my mustang I finished up 2 years ago. Originally it was grabber lime. But wanted it a little brighter played with the mix to make it a little brighter. Not to obnoxious but turns heads like crazy.

Older pic of my roadster with green wheels before I changed roof height, went to 18" rear wheels/tires, painted wheels black and added a driving light. Also a current pic.
