paint question

I gotsta start painting my 55 pontiac, my question is has anyone metal flaked a car? what the heck do you do with the drip rails n door jambs? the clear would be a bitch to sand in these areas, would I be better to mask them off and then flake it until i clear it?

 

good question buddy,i am getting ready to paint my 33 willy with monster flake and was wondering the same thing

 

scuff pads work the best for these areas.
