I've had my 1951 Gmc in DP90 for a few years now and the elements have taken their toll. Not to mention I did some less than perfect body work when I sprayed it the first time. I'm just finishing fixing what I didn't the first time and have a question. I want to change the color from black to red oxide. What are your votes for a durable flat paint. One that I can wash the bugs off of and won't show my greasy hand prints, won't chalk up, etc, etc. Any tips, experience would be great and thanks.
Single stage with flattner. You can control degree of gloss. If funds are low check for a auto paint discount store in your area.
