Good on you. The satisfaction derived from a DIY paint job just keeps on going...... and growing.

 

Looks a lot better then my first attempt way back when. And worst part was the color my grandpa picked out was a bright signal green, and swear you could see the hangers I put in a mile away. Unfortunately I was hooked, and decided I'd go into a trade that isn't the heathiest or the greatest pay.
From what I can see from the reflections, looks like you have some work ahead of you with the sander and buffer, but amazing how many flaws it can take care of and what a difference it can make. Runs, I personally like scraping the majority of them flat with a razor blade first, when they have cured long enough to do so.

I hate to use the most overworked word in the English language but, Your A looks AWESOME. Nice job. Love the car and the Washington Blue with Creamery fresh firewall....Don.

Congrats. It's so much cooler when you do/paint it yourself. My junk looks like a plumber painted it, 'cause one did. Suits me, and you can be proud, too.
