I have the inside piece from Macs. It seems too long and not at all right. Does anyone have a picture of this area on a stock roadster? Oh, of course it's a Ford, what else is there.
Thanks for that link. I've never really looked at an A Roadster or Coupe trunk floor, the one in the link looks like it has a rumble seat cushon riser, wouldn't a trunk floor be flat? I know this is a stocker question, just wondering.
Thank you, that's just the information I was looking for. I have the next twelve days off and am looking to have the body on the frame in that time. You made it all possible. Merry Christmas to you.....Thanks
Those pictures are of the rumble seat setup. The inner panel is referred to as "curved inner panel" for rumble seat. I believe the inner panel is straighter and goes almost straight down on a trunk setup.
that's for Trunk. They're all refered to as "curved inner panel". But the inside trunk setup is straighter as you say, since it doesnt have to follow the contour of the lid when it's a trunk setup. The trunk version is the same for for all years and models. The rumble seat panels have two versions; a tall and a short style. Tall style is for 28 to 31 roadster and 30-31 coupe; they use the same inner panel for rumble. Shorter Style inner panel are for 1928-29 Coupe /1929-31 Cabriolet . A Flat floor? Not in the first part of the trunk area; you couldn't clear the rear crossmember, so the have the seat riser.
