I'll be there taking pictures as always. Definitely a good show at a historic track. An absolutely massive swap meet is a big plus, too.

You would like the show & go then, it's like taking a step back to the late 60's or early 70's. there is always a lot of ol racers there.

just a short 11 days, ok guys time to put in a fresh set of champions, change the oil, give it a quick bath, maybe a little wax just to make it faster, and get ready for some fun.

It's a shame it's on Mother's Day weekend. Have to travel to see family or I'd be there.

  13. I plan to be there and race Sat, then drive to see Mom on Sunday.

Gates open at 7am for swap meet vendors, so I'm assuming car show/drag race people can show up anytime after that...official show time is 9am to 3pm.

I will be down with some parts and a buddy of mine who runs a '66 yellow big block Impala will be running. PM me and I will give you my cell number. We are bringing an old mustang II drag car body for sale as well as some FE and other Ford parts that belonged to a recently deceased friend and the money will be going to his widow. Another buddy is bringing some 9" rear ends.

yea, but the 50 year old frame rails and cage was just a little unsafe to put back on the track, so i am building a 58 chassis research rail from a set of plans i got a few years ago. i was hoping to have it rolling and take it to the show, but i don't. the ol willys will be there, loaded it today. our phones have been ringing off the hook, looks like it's going to be a big turn out, see you guys there. thanks bb

  25. There are a bunch of us leaving out from the 400 / HWY 20 area about 6:30am Sat if anyone wants to caravan.
