HOLY CRAP!!! Neat Astra! Is this a survivor? Anyone know any history?

 

I don't know the history on the car, but the owner is from Chattanooga, TN and had the chassis and cage updated at Smoky Mountain Chassis.

 

I didn't stick around too long because of another event, but grabbed a few shots while I was there. I posted all of the shots on my SmugMug page:

I WANT TO THANK ALL WHO CAME OUT AND SUPPORTED THE SHOW, the racers, swap meet vendors, and the back bone "the hot rodders" and all the hard working workers, man i had a blast, we could not have orderd weather any better. also a huge thanks to aceuh, eleanor06, and henryjguy, for posting the sweet pictures on the hamb. these three guys blow my mind with the pictures they take, and i hope they keep on snaping away. thanks bb

No no no!Have it 12/11.12/4 is my weekend to work

 

Does anybody know if there's a race 12-4? I can't find anything on the Paradise Dragstrip website or the North Georgia Hot Rods site.
