I've picked up this stuff at various times and finally decided to see if anyone out there could shed any light on these items. Any info appreciated.

    18" wheel, 5 on 5 1/2" pattern.

Marked "FIRESTONE" and "12-31" inside rim

    Also marked"18" and "3.25 E"

    And "30512E-2"

Next up is a mid 30's grill surround of unknown make. Only the 1 not so good picture.

And lastly is a cast aluminum piece that has the shape and size of a Model A dash rail, but with 6 evenly spaced holes instead of 5.

Any help identifying these parts is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Dave

An 18 x 3.25" rim with 5 on 5 1/2" pattern would have been the stock size used on a '32 Model B Fords. Your artillary wheel might have been an aftermarket replacement for the stock wire wheels. The 12/31 production date stamped the wheel would fit with that. Can't help on the other stuff.

The grille shell is Chrysler, looks like a '37, or possibly Dodge, not clear enough to tell. The wheels could be Chrysler, too, they had optional steel spokes and demountable wood (!) wheels in the early '30's.

What was the bolt pattern for Chrysler at that time? Would it be 5 on 5.5 like the Ford wheels?

Yeah, I wondered about that too. I know that Chrysler products used artillery wheels in the '30s, but my literature (which admittedly only goes back to '34) only shows a 5 on 4 1/2" pattern for the whole Chrysler product line. GM used some 6 on 5 1/2", some 5 on 5", but nobody else used a 5 on 5 1/2". My Ford listing goes back to 1930, so I'm comfortable that your wheel at least was correct for the Model Bs.

Studebaker had a wheel like that. It's what shine runs on his truck. Not sure if they were 5 1/2 bolt pattern though. Might be an accessory wheel like mentioned.
