Hey everyone, for the life of me I cannot find this black part that connects to the negative coil wire. I broke it while setting the dwell. Does anybody have a part number or at least the name of what this part is?

I know somebody will know here and thanks in advance! ;)

Probably need to find a junk distributor and use what parts you may need. I doubt the part is currently available separately. Maybe GMC Bubba or an old school auto electric shop in the area......Greenfield Swap Meet weekend after Labor Day.

I wonder if K-D or Lisle still list the hollow screwdriver ... I've got a Proto with a sliding .019 feeler gauge built into it

I think I have one of the KD screw drivers in my tool box. I'd think you can walk into a John Deeler's parts counter and get that insulator.
Looking it up shows that John Deere shows both a round shoulder and a square shoulder insulator.

There are a lot of old tractors still working out there. Good place to look for that kind of parts.
