Part Number Please? Headlight switch

    Hello all Im in the market for a GOOD 1959 Chevy Pickup headlight switch.
    I need a good part # in order to move along any further.
    GM# or any after market # will do

  2. Have a book(Parts and Accessories Catalog Chevrolet 1933-1960)that lists part # for 58-59 Series 3 and 4(commercial?)as 1995082.

    1995082 in my GM parts catalog is listed as 55-56 passenger car. Could be the same but I'll do some more checking. 59- 63 pass is 1995095, I have one of those. Don't know if it will work on the truck but I'll find out.

    You are right;the listingin my book states p/n 1995082 applies to:55-57 all passenger and Corvette except 57 passenger,58-59 series 3 and 4,and 60 D-D(cabover).However my book lists p/n 1995096 for 57 passenger,58-59 passenger,Corvette,and 60 series 10-40 except D-D.That's as high as my book goes.

  5. the 3 parts books i have skip over 49-59 trucks. the books are napa, standard, borg warner. [​IMG]

    thanks for all the help guys..It got late and I hadnt found one and the sky was again dark.
    I used a generic push pull headlight switch and just rewired it.
    it works better than ever! [​IMG]
