I'm building a T bucket for a fella and basing it off a 31 frame and 37 rear end converted to open drive. Curious if anyone knows who makes the upper mount for the 4 link that Speedway sells in the pic below (center section bracket). I'm using the stock radius rods on the bottom and wanted to replicate what the have going on here. I****ume it's made by someone other than speedway or something similar. Worst case I can make one I guess but any info on this or something similar would save me a lot of time. I did call Speedway and no luck, the kit items have no vendor info listed even after talking to 2 folks there we were all at a loss. Thanks!
You might PM @patmanta because it does look like you can get it by calling Speedway. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/when-were-triangulated-4-kinks-first-used.845035/page-2 post #32 https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...7-t-shortened-touring-basurati.1247107/page-2 post #41
That's an idea based on convenience not good geometry. Been discussed before. But if the spring is stiff enough it would give the illusion of working.
You're absolutely right however I'm not building it as SW sells. I'm using the bracket as a base for a parallel torque rod running the length of the driveshaft but wanted a bolt in option that wouldn't be as visible from the back of the car.
