Projects Partial flow question

Guys - I really don't want to get this backwards, so I'm here with another infantile question.
Am I right in ***uming the threaded center port is in-coming oil and the one next to it is a return?
Thanks much! (I'm replacing the older messy C4 filter housing with this.)

 

My new rambler has one of those. The oil comes in the off-center fitting (3/16" line), and dumps to the pan from the center fitting (1/4" line).
