lurked for quite a while without a user ID, and finally registered to ask a few questions and ask for some help. some think i'm crazy. other just shake their heads. my project is a chevy s-10 and i'm convinced I need to finish this one before moving onto the next project. I was fortunate last year to find a man that knows his way around muncie transmissions. I was able to watch him, I didnt help much, tear down, explain the different parts and rebuild the transmission with new internals. here are photos from the last day of the rebuild. motor is a small block 350 4 bolt. rebuild was nothing special. reused the crank and rods. should keep things entertaining for a while. as for the rest of the truck, sand blasting the frame in the next few weeks, coating with POR15 and polyurethane bushings on all the suspension connections. *body mounts also poly* Summit Racing stickers are starting to pile up, along with these 5 hour energy drink bottles. I still dont understand why those are in the shipments these days. cheers! chris<pixelmonkey>
