I have more pictures to post later. Got everything back together. Braking is improved 1000%. The system needs to be adjusted from scratch but we had to move the car to do so, so we took it up the road. I adjusted the shoes in like normal with the floaters (has a lock nut so "clicks" aren't a thing anymore, rather I am doing "eighths" of a circle with the wrench), and set the rods as good as I could. I found the passenger side rod was mostly seized and has been welded from two parts so I will be ordering replacements. I did about 10-12 light stops to bed the shoes in. It stops straight mostly due to luck. Once I get the new rods I will adjust it using the proper procedure.

I am also shopping for iron drums for the rear. Or possibly another axle so I can put in the higher speed gear, iron drums, new linings and just do a full swap.

Been running this for a bit (with the same rods...). Still stopping great and straight. Had to dial in a quarter of a turn on the driver front. Rear steel drums are starting to hump pretty bad, especially when cold. :)
