Hey out there! I am wondering if anyone out there has ANY pics of the scene in Pasadena CA in the mid to late sixties? I am trying to locate some pics of my Pops in his hey day. In case you were there back then and might know him, his name is Ray Quackenbush , he owned a Mobil Service station in El Monte, and ran a factory GTO at the strip. He was a regular wrench for Edgar Elder and practically lived at ASCOT in Gardena. Any of ol Souls from So Cal, please search your photo albums and you dont have any pics but knew him I would love to hear any stories that you might have.

    Thanx a bunch

That in n out is still there and always jam packed! right now my dad lives in Kingman AZ and has kinda faded from scene, bummer. He is doin good though and is happy to have survived his youth! I knew someone out there would have known him. The next time I talk to him, I'm gonna tell him about The HAMB and suggest he join up and help keep the tradition alive.

  4. tell him Jim Arnold said howdy! I made it to 68 years without slowing down (I never was that fast) I've got three projects going with three more waiting. I drive to Pasadena every few years just to get a double double, fries and a Vanilla shake. tastes the same as they did in 1955:cool:
