Daisyduke: forgot to add...Cambria and Paso are about 28 miles apart. So the distance would depend on how fast you drive. [IMG]

I've got a question. Since alot of us have never met. How the heck are we gonna now when you meet somebody? Do I need to buy a HAMB t-shirt and wear it with pride?

We're staying at Creekside Inn. Have no idea where that is.

Thats the one we booked last year, then couldn't make it so Ratboy took the room, then couldn't make it...so someone else booked it...

Kev (32Limey) stayed there I am sure...ask him where it is, we will likely book in there too....

There has been a HAMB meet the last couple of years. I think it was noon on Saturday at the steps to the building in the middle of the park.

Daisy Cambria is so easy to get to & from Paso you could do it with your eyes shut, give me a buzz sometime & i'll run you through it.
Its a great place to stay but most places to eat shut about 10pm except one bar that does food till about 11pm if i remember right, prices were ok too.
So if you head out of Paso late get food first!

There are a few of us that live in the area. I am down the road in Los Osos. It is about 30 minutes to the south. Everything in town is well and truly booked by now and the prices do go up for the weekend but you can look at the other towns in the area...Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cambria etc... I make the drive up there every year, In fact I kinda plan my year around it and thrash like crazy to get something new done for the show every year and usually fail.

    A most recommended show.

I've never had a problem getting a room.

You might find out it can get over a 100 during the day and back in the 50's at night. It's really a great place to live. If it gets to hot, take run to the coast, it's less than a half hour away. The cost of homes has more than doubled in the seven years we've live there.

Daisy, Cambria is a cool little tourist town, with more of those little shops you can fit in a square mile. The burger place on the north end of town has been good in the past. I've heard good things about Mustashe Pete's, never been there.

Just a note the old library steps in the center of the park are still fenced off from the earthquake.
