passing cursor over avatar to seek info

when i'm on the computer at work and run my cursor over anyone's avatar, i get that member's info(location, join date, number of posts, etc). when i'm here at home and try it, i get nothing.
i also noticed i don't receive a notification when i've received a private message or whatever the hell they're called now. i don't see any way to delete messages that i have sent or received. i'm not liking the new hamb so far.

 

i think i've figured out the private message notification. the little envelope icon changes color when you have a new message. my color blindness(serious) makes it kind of hard to distingquish between the two. bobk pointed it out to me.

anybody know why i don't get member info when i hover over the avatar on my computer at home? i see the info when i'm logged in at work. i tried the usual tricks, clearing the cache and stuff. the avatar disappears, just goes blank instead of giving member info.

 

You are not the only one. My ipad shows the info, but at work,; they just show blank.
